The attack of this 2000 Gruaud Larose is very expressive, notably spicy with noticeable tannin. On the midpalate, I feel a curious impression of macerated fruit as if they were a little over-extracted. This 2000 Gruaud-Larose has an astonishing vivid power which will need a few more years of patience. 89/100
